"My Hero Academia: Two Heroes" gives fans of the manga and broadcast series exactly what they want: a high-energy blend of heroism, comedy, friendship and take-no-prisoners battles.
Relentlessly optimistic and incredibly wholesome, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes is both the feel-good movie of the fall that other films should aspire to be and the silver screen debut of what I'd call probably one of the most popular anime series of 2018.
While the introductory scene with All Might may have set too high of a standard for the rest of the film, it's still an enjoyable side story with a great fight to cap it off.
My Hero Academia's first foray into longer storytelling is one of the most successful, passionate transitions in the medium
My Hero Academia: Two Heroes services both its fanbase while also providing a well-crafted, humorous tale to those with little to knowledge of the manga-turned-anime-series. Uplifting and effervescent, the film is a fantastic flick. 4.1/5
