I have been a viewer of the Teen Titans ever since the first animated show which had a sort of Tokyo Japanese inspired theme and aura. It was somewhat serious with humour and love story twists but was yet entertaining with the action combined. Then when the Teen Titans Go! animated series was shown, I thought the Titans is a major joke and I asked myself, ?When will they actually take them seriously?? like to create a movie or something that is live action. I watched the animated movie recently, I was transfixed by the plot but not impressed with the animation, though I know for a reason it was really made for children (chuckles). When I first saw the few episodes starting from the trailer, I was immediately raised from the ground, metaphorically. As I had thought of this day the Titans would have an official name in the superhero legendary generation?s list. If anybody says this was cheaply done first of all, the plot was not cheaply delivered as for I personally have exposure with films and personal friends with directors myself, this is a good plot that would keep a person wondering what?s next. Maybe even actually waiting for the next episode to be aired. Also, if they say it was cheap production, I would like to add up that shooting in multiple places and cities, hiring actors, hiring extras, delivering props and some destruction of course most of it is CGI but not all. I sense some aren?t and I know exactly what to say for this. Most movies you see by hollywood today are actually 70-80% green screen, CGI and SFX. Don?t say this is a cheap production when that last DC? s Superman movie or Marvel?s Spiderman was a lot of SFX and CGI. No doubt this show will make it well enough to be subscribed to. A suggestion of mine for them to really make it will be, considering adding the Cyborg character somewhere in season 2. The fighting is fine and gruesome just awesome, keep it rated SPG. I love the fact that they casted starfire uniquely and worth googleing for. It doesn?t focus on ?whooing? people with a perfectly fitted relationship with robin and starfire, I believe for a reason it was to kill too much of the romance they had back with the cartoons and comics, just to make it more about the plot and what?s really going on within the story. I suggest they decide on a plot that would keep the audience wanting more to know and see how serious it is and how fascinating and possibly changes in the future, heavier villains and arch nemesies that would make people actually want to finally make a movie about this. If they perhaps casted a different Starfire and Robin, nothing wrong with today but it needs more authenticity. The height, the race, the heritage, the age and Starfire?s english speaking way that makes it more like she?s from an alien planet. The flaw here is not the production nor the plot but the cast selection and pairing. Although they are great actors and actressess, it just needs to fit to make it authentic DC, I hope you read this to take note and remind you soon that if you decide to actually make a movie that would rank high next to The Dark Knight, think not just the plot and money but the pairing of the cast. People like to feel that there is love here, not just action. Turn them on. That is all and I will continue to watch and possibly subscribe in the future once they make it through season 1 successfully.
